  1. macOS App
    v0.1.64

Pinned sessions, changed-file cards and new settings

    • New Right-click a session to pin it; pinned sessions gather in a “Pinned” section at the top of the sidebar.
    • New Each turn now ends with a changed-files card listing edited files with added/removed lines, and opens a per-file diff on click.
    • New A new “Browser” settings tab detects the Chrome plugin and extension, installs them in one click and shows connection status with specific failure reasons.
    • New A new “Computer use” settings tab installs the computer-use plugin in one click, shows Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions, and jumps straight to System Settings.
    • New Plugins now live in Settings with a “Marketplace” / “Built-in” switch, and plugin bundles can be enabled, disabled or removed in place.
    • New “Mobile access” in the sidebar opens the phone pairing and device management page in your browser, so a phone can connect to this Mac by scanning a QR code.
    • New A turn rail beside the transcript lets you jump between turns and page into earlier history, and find now has “Next” / “Previous” shortcuts.
    • New A paperclip button in the composer adds attachments, uploading files from outside the workspace, and new popovers show session stats and token usage.
    • New URLs, file paths and session references in your own messages are now clickable, and picked page elements show as readable key-value cards.
    • Improved Images in context open in Quick Look, deliverable cards offer “Open” and “Show in Finder”, and archived sessions can be restored from Settings.
    • Improved The transcript is back to native scrolling with no more jumping while replies stream or you type multiple lines, and the app supports newer DSH releases using the node and npm from your terminal.
    • Fixed Fixed several sidebar and composer crashes, greyed-out popovers in light mode, wrong models on past sessions, and errors when clicking relative file links.
  2. Android App
    v1.0.1

First public release: find, previews and archive

    • New A new find bar searches within a session and highlights matches in the transcript.
    • New File links in messages now open a preview right on your phone, images open in the system photo viewer, and images in a session appear as a gallery.
    • New An “Archived sessions” entry at the bottom of the session list opens a page where you can search, open or unarchive sessions.
    • New @session mentions in your messages now jump to the referenced session.
    • New A slim connection banner shows “Connecting…” while reconnecting and only warns, with a retry button, when your computer is truly unreachable; error messages are friendlier too.
    • Improved Updated for the latest DSH: stop background jobs from your phone, pinned sessions sync with your Mac, queued messages and steering work again, and each turn shows the files it changed.
    • Improved Session search is smoother and still finds sessions by title or workspace name when content search isn’t available on the host.
    • Improved Context and token usage readouts now match the Mac, and numbers and relative times no longer vary with your device region.
    • Fixed Failed turns no longer miss their notification or get replaced by a “completed” one, failure notices show the real reason, and background sessions show their error dot again.
    • Fixed Fixed new sessions that couldn’t send their first message and a preset picker that appeared even when the host had it turned off.
    • Fixed Fixed several crashes, including the camera not being released after leaving the pairing screen and malformed readings or tool arguments.
    • Fixed Fixed unstable connections after returning to the foreground or a dropped network, same-name attachments overwriting each other, duplicate tool results, and a dead “Pause” button on the goal bar.
  3. Chrome extension
    v0.3.6 Upcoming

Annotate as you pick, Mac-style side panel

    • New Picking a page element now opens an annotation box right where you clicked, so you can submit or move on to the next one.
    • New A “Files changed this turn” card at the end of each turn lets you review the diff file by file.
    • New The Plugins settings page now has “Marketplace” and “Built-in” tabs for installing, toggling and removing plugins, and presets can be duplicated or deleted.
    • New You can force a light or dark theme, and the panel no longer flashes the system theme on launch.
    • New Per-turn usage and duration are now clickable pills that open a details popover.
    • Improved The session list now opens as a left-hand drawer from the far-left button, matching the Mac app.
    • Improved When the agent opens a page it now reuses a tab you already have open, and it no longer closes your own tabs when it finishes.
    • Improved The extension is now called Deepseek Harness APP and has a new icon.
    • Improved The history list opens faster, picked elements show as tidy key-value cards, and the send queue works with the latest DSH.
    • Fixed Fixed stale “Background task failed” notifications popping up for old jobs, and subagents now notify you when they finish.
    • Fixed Fixed ever-growing image memory in long sessions, code blocks occasionally swallowing text, and errors leaving only a spinner.
    • Fixed On macOS “Stop generating” is now ⌘Esc so popovers can’t swallow it, and agent typing no longer steals focus from your tab.
  4. Remote access
    v0.3.4

Faster phone calls, safe retries on reconnect

    • Improved The phone now sends all its requests over a single long-lived connection instead of one request each, making access to your Mac through the relay noticeably faster.
    • Improved Retrying after a dropped connection never runs an action twice; a request that already finished simply returns its original result.
    • Fixed Fixed a security issue so a phone’s request can no longer use a crafted address to point at another host; it can only reach the allowed endpoints on this Mac.
  5. Remote access
    v0.3.3

New address for the Mobile Access page

    • Improved The Mobile Access page in the browser now lives at /mobileaccess; the old /mobile address is gone, so update any bookmarks.
    • Improved The relay control now sits inside the status line, with its buttons shortened to “Cut Off” and “Restore”.
  6. Remote access
    v0.3.2

Manage Mobile Access from a browser

    • New You can now open the Mobile Access page in a browser, without the Mac app, to see the pairing QR code and your paired devices.
    • New Paired phones can now be renamed so multiple devices are easy to tell apart.
    • New You can cut off or restore the relay link with one click, pausing all phone access without unpairing anything.
  7. Remote access
    v0.3.0

Changed files on the phone, lighter loading

    • New The phone can now open each turn’s changed-files card and view the actual diffs.
    • Improved Responses to the phone are now compressed and the session list carries only the fields the phone needs, so it loads faster on weak networks and uses less data.
  8. Android App
    v1.0.0

Background running, new sessions and appearance

    • New The app keeps its connection alive in the background while a task runs, so locking the phone or switching apps won’t interrupt it.
    • New A new “New session” screen lets you start conversations right from your phone.
    • New Settings gains an “Appearance” section for switching between English and Chinese and between light and dark themes.
    • Improved Multi-question prompts from the agent now go one question at a time, with previous/next and custom answers.
    • Improved Touch and hold to reorder session groups, and edit, remove or steer queued messages.
  9. Remote access
    v0.2.0

First release: reach your Mac from your phone

    • New After scanning a QR code, your phone can use DSH on your Mac through a public relay, end-to-end encrypted, without opening any port on the Mac.
    • New Pairing codes are single-use and expire after 5 minutes, and a new code retires the old one; a paired phone stays trusted for 180 days.
    • New The pairing QR code carries this Mac’s name, which the phone uses as the default label for the connection.
    • New The device list shows whether each phone is currently online.
    • Improved The relay only forwards encrypted bytes; it cannot read your data and stores nothing on disk.
    • Improved A phone can reach only what it needs and cannot pair or remove devices; revoking a phone also cuts its open connections immediately.
  10. Android App
    v0.9

First preview: pair with your Mac by QR code

    • New Pair by scanning the QR code shown by DSH on your computer; the phone talks to it over an end-to-end encrypted connection.
    • New Browse your sessions, follow transcripts live, and answer the agent’s approval requests and questions from your phone.
    • New Send attachments and get notified when tasks need you or finish.
    • New Pair multiple computers and switch between, rename or remove them.
    • Improved Richer Markdown rendering, plus session statistics showing token usage, turns and model speed.
  11. Browser control
    v0.3.6

No more lost connection after repeated reconnects

    • Fixed Fixed a leak on every extension disconnect, so after long use and many reconnects the browser tools no longer suddenly report the extension as disconnected until a restart.
    • Fixed Connection health checks now run per connection, so a healthy but slightly slow connection is no longer dropped by mistake.
    • Fixed Fixed a mismatched handshake reply between the extension and the local service, so the extension version is reported correctly again.
  12. Browser control
    v0.3.5

Background input and working editing shortcuts

    • Improved Trusted mouse and keyboard input now always runs in a background tab without switching to it, so the page you are looking at is left alone.
    • Improved Select-all, copy, cut, paste, undo, Enter-to-submit and Delete now work in inputs, text areas and rich editors, and report whether a selection or clipboard action actually happened.
    • Improved Browser-level shortcuts that Chrome swallows (like opening or closing tabs) are now refused with a pointer to the navigate or close-tab tools, instead of silently doing nothing.
  13. Browser control
    v0.3.4

Picks the right shortcut for your OS

    • New Reading a page now also reports which operating system Chrome runs on, so the agent knows whether to use ⌘ or Ctrl and no longer sends a shortcut that silently does nothing.
    • Improved Keyboard input is verified by reading the page back, so text the page rejected or rewrote is caught right away.
  14. macOS App
    v0.1.63

Open the web app in one step

    • New A new “Open Web App” menu item (⇧⌘,) opens the signed-in web interface in your browser.
    • Improved The revision note box on plan cards now grows with your text, up to five lines.
    • Improved Question card titles and approval card reasons can now be selected and copied.
    • Fixed The server address in Settings now includes a one-time sign-in, so opening it no longer lands on an unauthorized page.
    • Fixed Leading and trailing blank lines and spaces are now trimmed when sending, and whitespace-only drafts are no longer sent.
  15. macOS App
    v0.1.59

    Chrome extension status in Settings

    • New The server page in Settings now shows whether the Chrome extension is connected, disconnected or its bridge is down, refreshing every few seconds.
  16. macOS App
    v0.1.58

Steadier sidebar and reliable new sessions

    • Fixed Fixed a crash that could occur while searching the sidebar, collapsing groups or holding ⌘.
    • Fixed New sessions no longer reuse a blank session that can’t be opened, so your first message sends normally.
    • Fixed When a session fails to connect, an error is now shown instead of it staying stuck as running.
  17. macOS App
    v0.1.55

No more queue flicker when sending

    • Fixed Sending a message to an idle session no longer briefly flashes the queue bar.
  18. macOS App
    v0.1.54

    Accurate Dock badge count

    • Fixed The Dock badge is now reconciled at launch, clearing leftover unread counts from the previous run.
  19. macOS App
    v0.1.53

    Cleaner folding of turn details

    • Improved When a finished turn is folded, context injections such as agent instructions and the skill list are tucked into the summary too, leaving just the answer.
  20. Browser control
    v0.3.3

Host actions from the extension sidebar

    • New The Chrome extension sidebar can now show Git status, manage plugins, and restart or update DSH through the local service, available only to the authorized extension on this Mac.
    • Fixed A stalled extension is now detected and reconnected promptly, so browser tools no longer hang for the full 30-second timeout on every call.
    • Fixed When every call times out, the error now points at the extension connection instead of blaming a busy page.
    • Fixed Windows builds ship again, so Windows users receive the latest updates.
  21. Chrome extension
    v0.3.1-build.21

DSH 0.1.2 support and steadier sessions

    • Improved The extension now works with DSH 0.1.2.
    • Fixed Attachments are cleared when you switch sessions, sending waits until they finish loading, and removing one no longer removes the wrong item.
    • Fixed The “Send” button re-enables after a failed prompt, and failed new sessions now show an error.
    • Fixed Reasoning level now applies to the right model after switching sessions or models.
    • Fixed Fixed background sessions not refreshing, the session list dropping live updates, and gaps in the transcript.
    • Fixed Attachment validation errors are now localized.
  22. Chrome extension
    v0.3.1-build.18

Git control, plugin management and shortcuts

    • New A Git control in the chat header shows the branch and pending changes, and lets you switch or create branches and push or pull.
    • New You can install, update and remove plugins, and restart or update DSH, straight from settings.
    • New A new “Include current page” switch in the composer tells the agent which tab you’re viewing with your next message.
    • New The session list can be sorted by recent, status or manual drag order, and each row shows a running, finished or error dot.
    • New A new “Shortcuts” settings tab, plus drag-and-drop images, math formulas and Markdown images in chat.
    • Improved The easy-to-forget browser control switch is gone in favor of a clearer connection status, and the icon has been refreshed.
    • Fixed Fixed confirming an input-method candidate accidentally sending a message or opening a session.
    • Fixed Fixed not being able to switch back to the previous preset and reasoning level applying to the old model.
  23. Browser control
    v0.3.2

The service restarts itself after upgrades

    • Improved The browser-control service now runs independently of DSH, so pressing Ctrl-C in the terminal no longer takes it down with it.
    • Improved After an upgrade, an old service still running is detected and replaced with the new one automatically; the extension reconnects on its own within 30 seconds.
    • Fixed Fixed the bundled service not being found after install, which left the extension unable to connect.
  24. Chrome extension
    v0.3.1-build.13

    Smoother session switching

    • Improved Switching workspaces or opening a session now shows a loading animation instead of a blank or stale view.
    • Fixed Fixed the transcript not changing after clicking a session in the list.
  25. Chrome extension
    v0.3.1-build.11

    Subagent catalog and workspace filtering

    • New A subagent catalog in the panel header shows how many subagents are running and opens each one read-only.
    • New You can now open the workspace folder in your system file browser.
    • Improved Selecting a workspace now filters the history list to that workspace’s sessions.
    • Fixed Fixed truncated folder names in search results and the history popover closing when using the workspace menu.
  26. Chrome extension
    v0.3.1-build.9

A sturdier side panel with background jobs

    • New A new background jobs panel, plus the ability to list and interrupt subagents.
    • Improved The agent can now open any navigable address, including file, about and data URLs, not just web pages.
    • Improved The panel reconnects automatically after a drop, you can tap the status dot to reconnect, and tool results survive disconnects.
    • Improved Streaming replies, the session list and search are smoother, even with long histories.
    • Fixed Late results no longer overwrite the current session when you switch quickly.
  27. Browser control
    v0.3.0

A new standalone service that stays responsive

    • New Opening a URL now accepts anything the browser can open, including local files, about:, data: and chrome: internal pages.
    • Improved Browser control now runs in a standalone native service, so reading huge pages, full snapshots or large script results no longer freezes DSH or pegs the CPU.
    • Improved Oversized tool results are now trimmed and clearly marked so they don’t bog down the conversation.
    • Improved The package now ships ready-made service binaries for Apple silicon Macs, Linux and Windows, so it works right after install.
  28. Computer use
    v0.1.3

First release: operate Mac apps in the background

    • New With Kimi Computer Use connected, the agent can inspect and operate macOS apps in the background — click, type, press keys, scroll, drag, select text and take screenshots — without taking over your mouse.
    • New A built-in skill has the agent re-read the app’s state before and after every step and verify the result, cutting down on misclicks.
    • New Before sending, deleting, purchasing, publishing or any other hard-to-undo action, the agent explains what will happen and asks for your confirmation.
    • Improved If the tools are unavailable, the agent tells you to check that the KimiCU app is installed and running.
