Get started
Install the Android app
Install the native Android client and pair your phone to your Mac with a QR scan.
The Android client is the phone side of the same sessions — and the scanning end of remote access.
Requirements
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| OS | Android 10 or later |
| Camera | for scanning the pairing code |
| Storage | about 60 MB |
Install
- Get the APK or install from the store (see the download page).
- Open the app and go to the pairing screen.
- Tap Add device on your Mac to show the QR code, then scan it.
- Once scanned, the device is on the allowlist and proves itself with its key — no verification codes.
After the scan
A Noise-encrypted channel is established between phone and Mac. What you see on the phone is the same sessions, the same files and the same workspace — not a separate remote copy.
